Alex Ross
Alex Ross is an American comic book artist born in 1970 in Oregon and raised in Texas. He began drawing at age 3, learning a lot from his commercial artist mother. Ross studied painting at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He has done a wide variety of work for both Marvel and DC Comics. Ross's style has been likened to Norman Rockwell and George Pèrez. He has a noted tendency for his characters to appear lifelike and often staring into the distance. Ross has won numerous Eisen and Harvey awards for his comic book work.
