AC/DC special edition, Gibson Epiphone electric guitar, 2002
A brief history:
AC/DC had moved from Elektra to Epic/Sony and as s part of a promotion, the label made limited edition Gibson Epiphone SG's customized with EVERY album cover on the pick guard (Sony acquired their entire catalogue) and an AC/DC logo on headstock.
These guitars were then signed in permanent marker by Angus and Malcolm Young (RIP) and sent out to editors and tastemakers.
It appears that less than 50 were ever produced in 2002.
The guitar will accompany a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the signatures by music autograph expert Roger Epperson.
